Plus - Add Music to Emotion
This is a concept I came up with one night when I was driving home and listening to Ed Sheeran's album Plus. I thought about how it would be cool to use one or two lines from a song that he wrote in a letter to a person that I wrote. As soon as I got home, I sat down with my laptop and started writing the first two letters. I picked one line that I liked from each song and wrote a letter based on the emotion of that line, not necessarily on the topic of the whole song. Some of the letters are autobiographical, some are pure fiction. I'm almost done with the album and I'm currently thinking about doing the same thing with Multiply. My Letters to Send
This is a collection of the rewritten versions of letters to people in my life. This was originally a much longer book titled My Letters I'll Never Send but I am tired of holding this all in so I have revised and grouped them into a smaller collection of roughly ten chapters. Similar warning to the last one, I do talk about triggering things, read at your own pace and risk. These poems were written for those who have felt pain like no other. You may be your own worst enemy, but you are also your own best friend. Sometimes, no one is there to help you get up off that floor, so it is up to you to help your own self. Once you find that you can take care of yourself, you can take care of and love others. Humans need love to survive. If we didn't have love, we'd all be robots and simply not human. The love doesn't have to be from a significant other. Maybe it's from a best friend or close family member? Just know that we are all in this game of life together. So, let's live it with love. I had entered the deepest depths of pain and agony. I had given up on my life. I tried to end my life, and I would have been successful. Three people saved me that day, at the end of 2017. First, was myself. I had to come to terms with who I was and turn it all back around. I had to lean on my Creator, who was my second life saver. Jesus came to my aid and saved my life after I tried to take it. 100 Letters To My Future Self
To anyone who might be reading this: This isn't a story or any other writing piece related to any character or a person other than me, but a diary-kind of personal letters written for my future self to read. Most of the contents here are private but most of you don't really know me personally or what's happening in my life, so I guess it's alright. This book is a poem book of my life pretty much. Its my thoughts and emotions spoken in a different suppossed to be more emotional and deeper way then just looking at what happened and crying about it. What happened can never be fixed but I won't let those people go by un-noticed and I hope karma sincerely kicks them in more then the ass someday. I don't wish pain upon no one but I do crave for them to just UNDERSTAND what they made me feel since they all walked away without a scrape, just a smirk on all their faces in the end. Or they're narcassistic. Theres also letters to people who I still think of to this day that will probably never read them but you guys still hold a special place in my heart.
