Tony Stark sighs. "You're not going with me on this, are you, Cap?"

Steve Rogers sighs deeply, the weight of his next words already crushing him. "Tony, you are, and always will be, my friend. I care for you deeply, but I will not allow the government to take more than its fair share of power, especially when it comes to the safety, freedom, and rights of some of our closest friends, like Glory Northern. I want her kids to grow up free to express their powers without fear."

"Don't bring Glory into this," Tony warns.

"There's still a chance we can work this out peacefully, Tony," Steve adds, almost begs. "War will mean people die, and I will fight you on this. This is a violation of civil rights."

"Civil rights assume that they're normal people. They aren't."

"So, I'm not worth rights? Glory's not worth it?" Steve nods, accepting the fact that he and Tony will be waging war over this. "Goodbye, Tony. I'm sorry."

"Goodbye, Cap, but I'm not."

Black Death has been defeated, Bucky Barnes has come home, and new Avengers keep are making more progress than ever before. Pietro and Glory are expecting twins and are engaged.

It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. Little do they know that she's alive, well, and under the care of Carter, a man from her past. It isn't until Nick Fury picks Iris up from Carter's that Iris shows up unannounced at the New Avenger's facility, much to the bewilderment of the team. And, as always, Iris' luck is generally poor. After an accident on one of the New Avenger's missions, King T'Chaka of Wakanda brings up a serious concern that directly involves the Avengers and the way they work. Other issues arise and over 100 countries band together to create the Sokovia Accords. The Accords put the Avengers under the direct control of the United Nations, which strips the signing members of the freedom to fight when and where they believe they are needed. However, the Accords don't sit right with everybody on the team and it begins to tear friendships apart at the seams as some decide to sign. To make matters worse, a dirty bomb goes off and kills numerous people at the signing in Vienna. The worst part? Bucky Barnes is the one framed. Now he's the most wanted criminal in the world. Wanda is in shock. His mind is ripped apart from hers like glue. She grabs her head in her hands, trying to contain a scream. "Tony, what the hell happened?" Tony gazes at the empty spot where Pietro was. His eyes are empty; shock makes him stumble.
