When Lachlan's brother goes missing, everything in his life takes a turn. The kingdom is in hysteria as the whole of the population strives to find the missing prince.

After three years of no good word on it, the king gives up hope. Completely convinced that his son is gone for good, he proclaims Lachlan as his new heir, and only son.
