When Lachlan's brother goes missing, everything in his life takes a turn. The kingdom is in hysteria as the whole of the population strives to find the missing prince.
After three years of no good word on it, the king gives up hope. Completely convinced that his son is gone for good, he proclaims Lachlan as his new heir, and only son. This isn't something that gave Lachlan the slightest amount of joy. What he would give for a game of catch with his hero again. As the king is on his deathbed, he speaks to his son of his brother, as if he were gone. Lachlan was not giving up hope.
On his journey, he encounters many obstacles and mysterious creatures, one of which he befriends. With Chusi by his side, he journeys to find his brother.

Elizabeth moved in with her Aunt after her father went to war. Her mother had disappeared when she was ten, and hasn't been seen since. After a bad war, the kingdom of riverflood was trying hard to scramble to their feet. When their king Apollo had a flower parasite that injected from his right eye, the kingdom worried if their king is dying. For as the flower didn't bother him, and it is fairly friendly, it only bothered is eye sight. Still the kingdom was scared that one day the flower would end up killing him in the end. With him being the only Arkan left, what would become of the Arkan throne? Without him being married and of no son to take over his spot, what would bece of the little kingdom? To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever? He was against the idea, yet he knew he'd struggle with his actions, so he accepted his punishment. However, he somehow knew that his family, specifically his father, were in danger when he heard a whisper about his father's demise.
