She looked fine on the outside. We all do. But she...she was faking. Shanna suffered a lot to cause this, to cause her to start faking her own emotions. There are lot's of people who do this. But some start to believe that their fake emotions are real. Like Shanna. 

She faked her own emotions so much, she couldn't tell what was real and was fake. She gets bullied at school and her older brother died 2 years ago, her life is torn upside down and she hate high school more and more, making her want to do terrible things. Her parents don't care about her which makes life at home worse. 

Then she meets bad boy Xander Jones. He helps her through her journey and saves her from terrible mistakes. But she wants to know more about him. What happens when she tries to dig a little deeper? What happens when he asks her how her brother died? They help each other in this terrible yet wonderful journey called LIFE.

When her mother disappeared from the family life, her father met a woman and moved to Chicago. This was not something Evonne was waiting for. She definitely didn't like changes. Not when the step mom was kind of mean to her. When she met Caleb, her life changed into something she never thought would ever happen to her. Someone genuinely loved her, and it was a boy and she couldn't let this go by. But when hidden secrets get revealed only they can change them. Told in both POV.
