Reeve Liberato always knew that her family was strange. She also knew that her whole family practiced magic.
Not rabbits in hats magic. Real live witchcraft. Each and every child that is born into the family comes with both magic focused on one specific thing in nature, and a source of that magic. That source is somewhere in the crafter's body. If you're smart enough, you could do lots of research and come up with a sensible solution to where that source is. If you hit that source... it would be a sad day for Reeve's family.
