I sat in the moving truck, staring up into the bright blue sky as birds flapped their wings in front of my eyes. Life in San Francisco was amazing, all until my mom died. My dad found another woman not long after, and decided we move to a small town in Iowa. I looked around at the signs in the truck and sighed.
