Emily Hanson starts her first day of Freshman Year at Hawkson High School in Calabasas, California. She's very anxious to be here because she just moved from North Carolina to California. Emily's mother passed away when she was 6, and all she has is her father to support her. She doesn't know anyone here and its very hard for her to make new friends because of what happened in her home town.
