Midland has gained infamy as the country no one cares about. The central government has almost no authority, and the whole country is a war zone, with rival groups and the government struggling over wealth and power. 
Yet Al Smith has good reasons to leave the comfort of his good life in Europe and travel to Midland as a reporter. Looking for more than just report, Al has left his past, present, and maybe even future, in Midland.

Mr. Mansour broke the silence: "Someone's waiting for you. She said you've been waiting to visit her for years." 
Midland is certainly no road for women, and when there's a woman waiting for you, no doubt you know her as well. But who is "she?"
