Harry Hart, always the gentleman, knew when and how to point out that she needed to keep her emotions and hormones at bay. He knew how to hold her tightly on a bad day and knew what to bring with him to work in the morning because he knew that she never ate.

Clarice Waters, always the free spirited girl she was known to be, knew when and how to push Harry's buttons. She knew how to drive him up a wall, or bring him back down. She knew how to make his favorite martini and the song he preferred to dance to when they were all alone.

They both knew she was the exception to every rule in Harry's book. No matter the circumstance, she came first. She always came first.

They told her not to fall, but she couldn't help herself. Those brown orbs he called eyes always melted like chocolate when he looked at her.

They told him to keep his head on straight but he knew he was looking straight at his future. Her smile always made everything he had ever done worth all the effort that he gave.

"You won't forget about me will you?" Scorpius stared down in shock at the gorgeous freckled-faced girl lying next to him. He was slightly offended that she thought he could ever forget her. They'd been best mates since the moment she scared the bullies off on their first train ride to Hogwarts. He'd been in love with her since the moment in the fourth year when she scolded him for falling off his broom but proceeded to clean up his wounds with a gentle touch. How in the world could she think he'd ever forget her? "You really think I could forget you?" Rose shrugged staying silent, as she picked at a loose thread in his sheets, refusing to meet his steely gaze. Tomorrow was their last day of exams, which meant Scorp was leaving tomorrow night. They had snuck up to Scorp's dormitory to get a few precious moments alone, while the rest of his dorm mates were off at his going away party. He still couldn't believe that by this time tomorrow he wouldn't know the next time they would see each other. The very thought killed him. Even though he'd known for over a year now that this day would come, he still wasn't ready for it. He wasn't ready to let her go just yet. He had a feeling he never would. At least not completely. Gripping her chin delicately, he raised her face so that their eyes met. "I could never forget you." Before she could argue or think up some other absurd thought, Scorp guided her lips to his. Rose kissed him back sweetly. After nearly a year together he still wasn't sick of kissing her. He pulled away to look into her pale blue eyes, hoping he was conveying everything that she meant to him with his next words. "I'll love you always."

Harry and Sofia met at a martini bar in Brooklyn, after a pair of their friends introduced them one breezy evening in March. While the New York sky had the most cotton-candy pink clouds, a sprinkle of magic coated the air that night. From then on, Harry would only think of Sofia, and she would only think of him. Their minds would overflow with quotes that reminded them of one another, movies that made them feel emotional, and the day by day would feel like a haze of ongoing infatuation. It felt a bit too good to be true; they were both head-over-heels with a fire of burning desire for one another with each flicker of their eyes. The ease of their tiny apartments, long walks along the Hudson, last minute plans, needing touches, long nights wrapped in one another, reading books down in the park, saying things that neither of them mean and apologizing quickly afterwards, getting high from one another's scent, finding one another in each other's orbit. It all makes sense. It all feels right. With an arrow through the bubble, only a few short months later, Sofia ends up with a small pregnancy test in her hands that can decide her future. His, too. While it's not the end of the world, it's a moment of realization that the easy-going, whirlwind lifestyle that they had both become accustomed to would change forever. But only if they wanted it to. From dancing in the hallway, haircuts in the bathroom, and kissing in the stairwell-Harry and Sofia find each moment to build onto parts of them that connect them through the world around them. A four-part short story about handling the seasons of life, and whatever part of Earth goes further than that. 18+. Contains mature content.

"Oh my love," Voldemort sighed. "Aren't you tired of this endless running? You don't look well. All this writhing in the dust like a hunted animal doesn't suit you." Harry struggled against the binds keeping him in place, his breaths coming out in sharps pants as he twisted away from his touch. He's a monster, he reminded himself, forcing himself not to think about how gentle he could be with him. How much he missed his touch. You need to run from him, run far, far away. You are in the middle of a war! "I'm tired of chasing," Voldemort continued, stepping closer to Harry's struggling form. "Of indulging this little game of yours. Let's stop pretending there's anywhere you could run where I would not find you." He paused in front of Harry and knelt down, a hand reaching out to caress his cheek possessively. "Let's stop pretending you want to be anywhere but my arms, hmm?" "Go to hell!" Harry spits, jerking away from his touch. "I'm not yours!" "And that, my love, is where you're wrong," Voldemort said with a crazed smirk. "Nothing, not even death, could keep me from you. You always have and always will belong to me!" |.-.-.-.-.-.-.-| Voldemort had finally won. He defeated the light and gained control over Magical Britain, and in the process, he had lost everything. As he remembers how he met, fell in love with, and ultimately lost Harry Potter, he realizes that in his greed, Voldemort had ruined everything that ever mattered to him. But when new information comes to light, it's a race against time to bring Harry Potter back from the dead and reconcile their relationship or risk losing the love of his life forever... ...Even if it means getting help from what's left of the Golden Trio.
