The Rich Man's Daughter (Our Story)

Jade was born to a very rich Chinese family. She grew up in a family who values tradition and culture more than anything else. Jade is considered the precious gem stone in their family. Beautiful, rich and loved, Jade's life was perfect. Everything was set for her. She was ready to marry her long time boyfriend and start a family of her own, following the strict guidelines of her clan. Unknowingly, her life will suddenly change when she meets Althea, a wedding planner. Soon after, Jade falls in love with Althea and against her family and society's rule she chose to follow her heart and fully embrace her identity. But due to many circumstances, they had to separate. Even though Jade's family eventually accepted her true self, it was too late for Jade and Althea's relationship. My story picks up from TRMD's finale.

I've been trying to look for a story post TRMD's finale. So i wrote this really for me. Hahaha. But I want to share it to whoever wants to read it. Some scenes/lines are from the original series and this is just a version that I wished they had shown or I wished have happened.
