"Easy, love; they're only love bites." Slade teased me in amusement as he stepped back from me with his hands raised in surrender. He's smart enough to eye the whisk cautiously in my hand, but confident in his knowledge of me not to follow through he gave me a devilish smirk.
"Only love bites?" I snapped at him angrily pointing sharply to my neck where he attacks most. "Have you looked at me recently? I look like a dog's chew-toy!" I shrieked furiously at him thinking about how much makeup I've had to go through because he likes people to know I'm taken.
