Newt hated social interaction, and he'd never really been the one to say much. Thomas was outspoken and would talk whenever he pleased. Their sarcasm was one of the few things they had in common when they first crossed each other. They never attended the same school, and they'd never have met if it weren't for Newt being at a game he wasn't going to show up at. But they did meet, and it all seemed to have a natural flow of things until the end. An end, however, always needs a beginning. My heart was racing, I was covered in sweat and shaking as I felt my memories slip away. I was huddled in the corner of what seemed like a box. Although it felt like I'd been in there for hours it couldn't of been more then 30 minutes. Suddenly the box came to a quick stop and the doors were pulled open. Newt fanfiction based off the Maze Runner book. I decided to walk through basically the whole book and add in another girl. Some parts and some of the timeline I had to change so it makes more sense but the basics are still there same so it's okay. If you didn't read the book, some parts might be confusing, just a PSA. I'm working on The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure so if this gets enough reads/votes, I'll upload those as well.
