Mae Irving is tired of the life she's been stuck with for about sixteen years. She wants to be free and escape her hell of a home--literally. She's sick of the way things are set up and all the crap she has to accept to make her family happy. She's sick of the fighting and being left out/forgotten. So she runs away. She runs looking for a better life to accept. Mae doesn't care how far she'll have to travel to find the family that she truly belonged in.

Mae is seeking freedom. And getting that freedom is easier said than done. Read Freedom Running to see how Mae encounters new struggles a sixteen year old girl wouldn't normally have to experience and how she finds herself while seeking freedom from her sucky life.
