The Black Lotus is a sign that murder and suffering will arise from the depths of people's hearts. Also it signifies misfortune and a devastating message that your time on this mortal plain is soon to be relinquished. If its purple fumes are imbedded within a weapon or book it does devastating damage to all life and substances, consuming the souls of the fallen, and festering in the mind of the wielder. Thus a weapon forged by a Nightlord had such attached to the shimmering jewels that made the blade, and was given reluctantly to a powerful man with a noble heart. The weapon was named for the ominous eye looking Black Lotus, and is full of bloodlust as it hums with a purple aura from fumes of the cruelest flower. Beware of the Black Lotus, for the goal of The Blade is to achieve the death of all.
