Bruce Wayne is, to most of Gotham City, the billionaire playboy who witnessed the death of his parents when he was only 8 years old. To his close friends, however, he is also the Batman, the masked vigilante who is waging a war on the criminals of Gotham City. This story takes place two years into the career of Batman. Bruce Wayne has started to face more dangerous criminals than the usual gang members he'd been used to. Will the increasingly more dangerous villains force Batman to find a partner that can help him?
