Thousands of adults are dying everyday from a mysterious virus, so thirteen year old Audrielle was forced to move to Boston, Massachusetts to study at Harvard to become a scientist. Audrielle isn't alone though, kids from all over the world as young as ten years old are adapting to life as an adult to go to college and take on adult roles. Being a typical teenager, Audrielle falls in love with a fifteen year old boy who is in her biology class and they work together and find themselves getting closer to an answer to the virus that has by then killed over a billion people, but Max seems to come down with a sickness that may be the virus that has a zero percent survival rate.
