Zara Rivers, a seventeen year old Werecat, grew up with her feline family drowning her head with negativity about the opposite species. 

Werewolves. 

She never listened, for she thought that the past shouldn't make a difference in the Were community. 
When a slaughtering suddenly wipes out her family, she has nothing to believe, nothing but the memories of how her parents told her the Werewolves would do anything to extinct their race.
Lost, confused, and so very angry, she ends up being taken hostage by the beasts themselves, forced to succumb and become another set of claws for the Alpha, but it is their first meet that both realize....something odd is buzzing between the two.
"Mate..." Zara's leopard whispers, bowing down.
Zara at first despised of the appalling thought she was mated to one of these foul creatures!
