Kayla has had a pretty much normal life, or at least until her dad and her new step mother move into a supposedly haunted house in White Point, Texas. Everything is fine for the first few days, then she notices something odd about the house. Lookig into it, she learns a 18 year old was murdered in house almsot 50 years ago. It is then she meets John's spirit. Time passes and the more alive he seems, the quicker the realise they're in love. Can Kayla help John solve the mystery of his murder and let his spirit move on, or will their nightmare be lost forever?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. Kayla is a 20 year old book nerd who has no interest in boys especially after being hurt and cheated on by her ex. She is fun going and enjoys movies along with good food. She tends to enjoy most of time at the library where it's nice and quiet or out at the park and sit by the calming pond.
