The situation I found myself in was almost overwhelming. Almost suffocating.
I had grown up simply, normally. I was an only child, the daughter of the owners of an antique shop. I read for fun and I enjoyed science and history, I preferred to be alone. In short I was a nerd, a loner.
Who would’ve thought that I’d end up running through the darkened streets of my hometown, toting stolen magical items in my backpack?
Who would’ve thought I’d be running from evil itself? From the one thing that I was truly afraid of?
Who would’ve thought I’d be running from myself?
A bitter laugh escaped me as I sprinted around a corner and ducked into the shadowy stoop of someone’s house.
And who the hell would’ve ever thought that this all would start because I was too stubborn to ask for help hanging up a mirror?

I was running, it was dark and there were tress everywhere. My long dark wet hair flying everywhere, it stuck to my face covering my eyes. I remember seeing a movie like this once. There was this girl and she was in a city and she was running from someone and she looked back to see if he was still chasing her and she tripped and fell. The guy got her and she thought he was going to kill her. I had always made fun of those girls cause if you were being chased you wouldn't look back you'd keep running. The ground was wet I could feel my feet sliding. I turn my head just enough to see if the creature was still behind me, I tripped over something hard and I fell to the ground face first. My eyes were closed but I could feel as if something or someone was behind me chasing me.Lengkap

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself.
