But here come Viki Brave, a tear in the otherwise seamless tapestry of Brave perfection.
Viki is a ninth grade party girl! Late night parties, sneaking out to get to them, and hitching rides with friends are all part of her nightly party experience.
But one fateful night, the world goes black--forever. Viki has lost her sight. She is devastated, knowing her family, and former friends will never treat her the same.
Viki must face her demons--erm--demon...her mother. She just can't quite seem to realize she is more important that what her mom may say.
Luckily, two new people rise to Viki's mothers challenge, and help Viki realize her mother will never control her fate.
Can Viki rise from the broken life she left behind; can she realize her mother isn't in control? But most of all, can Viki learn to place her trust in these new-found friends, who are fighting to pull her free from the debris of her life.
