One month ago, Olivia Robinson was found dead in her apartment room after she had committed suicide by overdose. All she had left behind was an unfinished letter addressed to her younger sister, Ava, explaining what she had done, and now Ava, left alone with three younger siblings and a mother unable to help, is forced to pick up all the pieces. She struggles through her mother's mental illness, feeding the younger kids and understanding and healing her own wounds left by Olivia's absence.
