The longest run

Imagine this. Your a country girl who has been around horses your whole life. Your out training one day when a car pull up and some old family friends step out. They say there here to stay for awhile and you start to get some feelings for your childhood best friend. You guys fall in love and you think your gonna live happily ever after. You have an accident and fall off your horse. The guy says he can't stand to see you get hurt so you have to pick him or the horses. Which would you choose?
