He faces his curse alone and she finds him, unmoving, breathless, without a pulse. A whisper told her that her pain keeps him alive. She takes the dagger off his hands and slides it over the pale skin on her arm - he stirs. She realised what she has to do. She plunged the dagger on her side and pulled it out - he wakes.

I looked closer into her grayish, I think, eyes. They had evil tucked beneath fear in them. I don't know what she means, yet her words mean the world to me at this very moment: 4 minutes ago, I was born.
