Isabella (Ella) Branson hates her sister. Well, maybe that's too strong of a word. Ella strongly dislikes her sister. Her and her sister, Samantha, are twins. Since they first entered middle school, Sam became the popular twin. She gets to be the head cheerleader. She gets to date the quarterback of the football team. What does Ella get? She gets to watch as her sister climbs the social ladder while she stays at rock bottom. Except one night. One night at one of Sam's parties Ella talks to The Aspen Carder. Aspen, who is the star of the soccer team and not to mention a total dreamboat, seems to be interested in Ella right away. Ella doesn't understand why. He could get any girl he wants, including Ella's beautiful twin sister. Instead, he picks Ella.

Lila and Sam. Sam and Lila. Ever since the Alvarez twins were born, that's how it always was. It was always Lila and Sam. Always Sam and Lila. Lila wants to enjoy her senior year, she wants no pressure. Sure, she might regret quitting the soccer team, but she wants no more responsibilities. Those plans are quickly ruined when the kicker of their school's football team is out with an injury. They need someone to replace him, and they turn to the retired soccer star. And much to Sam's dismay, football captain Ashton Westbrook is tasked with getting her ready for the season. But it's fine, it's just for this year. And as for Sam? Well, he catches the eye of nearly every person in their year. But unfortunately for Lila, the only person he really wants is their mutual best friend, Charlie Graham. But she's deemed him strictly off limits to preserve the trio's friendship. She'll just have to deal though, considering he's the only one who Sam hasn't been able to push away yet. And when Sam joins the school play to be closer with Charlie, he has no choice but to see him everyday. His sister will be fine- if she ever finds out, that is. And she's too caught up in her own lies to even notice. Besides, it's just for this year. As the twins life gets more and more separate and convoluted, they might find their likelihood for self-sabotage increase with each day of their senior year. But at least it's just for this year... right? TW: Heavy mental health issues Book Two of the "Just For" Series. Can be read as a stand-alone. Approximately 110k words

When Ella Jones' twenty-first birthday ends with a bang - literally - she never imagined it would be with her best friend since freshman year, Ryan Owen. A year later, after their so called "mistake", they're still best friends and about to rock their Senior year at the University of San Francisco. But when Ryan returns from spending a summer in Australia and brings back a friend, Liam George, who takes an immediate liking to Ella, Ryan starts to question the Aussie's intentions with his best friend. The trouble is, Ryan has a girlfriend of his own, and Ella and Ryan swore they would never cross that line again - until they do. They try not to let their second slip up affect their friendship, but when Spring Break forces them to vacation under the same roof; and Ryan's ex walks back into his life, Ella is shocked by a fierce stab of possessiveness. And when Ella continues to see Liam, Ryan finds himself plagued by unfamiliar jealousy. With their friendship strained for the first time, Ella and Ryan face an alarming truth: Maybe they can't be just friends. Maybe they are falling faster than expected. And maybe, deep down, they want to.
