Joniya has three problems on her hands, her sister's forced marriage; her best friend's secrets, and figuring out to stop a war. In Idsau time is running out for her she has a year to sort out her problems,other people's problems, and problems that somehow revolve around her. Her sister is due to marry the prince, a brat who she doesn't love and demands her, Joniya's sister already has a relationship full in swing. Her best friend has secrets he doesn't even know about, rumors tell Joniya that the 'Kings nephew' wants to remove the 'nephew' from his given title. Other people's problems don't usually bother Joniya, she sticks to her circle of people. But when the neighboring king has a new general she begins to realize the peace they have now is under threat by an invisible child.
But these three problems leads to a bigger problem.
