Seventeen year old Kara visits her aunt and uncle in Alabama for the summer after her mom died a few months before the story opens. During these few months she meets Taylor, a hot young waiter and falls for him almost instantly. However, not everything is that easy. For one, she hates the everything country but Taylor was born and raised country. And secondly, her ex-boyfriend, Danny, won't leave her alone. How will she deal will the loss of her mother? Can she really love Taylor even if he is all country? And what is she going to do about Danny?
