Maya's old life has been destroyed and left in ruins. She is left alone to fend for herself in the city of New Dale. But in these parts, you have to hold your own to survive. Maya takes on a new identity, and a new home. Known only as Shadow, she make the rooftops of New Dale her domain. Learning the acrobatic feats of parkour, she makes a new life for herself; as a Freerunner. 

All seems to be well until one fateful day, Shadow meets her destiny, in the form of someons she has yet to meet.
