On the Outside

Taylor Novak is slowly fading away in her own personal bubble, she lives with a mom who is too obsessed with her new husband than her own kid, the only one who has ever cared for Taylor is her brother Gage, but Gage is now in the marines which means Taylor is completely alone with her strange mother and her abusive stepfather, who cares too much about his public image than his wife and her daughter.

After one horrendous night at home Gage decides it's time that Taylor gets away from her old life and get a fresh start somewhere where others only know the Taylor she wants people to know, not the Taylor who went to school in baggy clothes to cover her bruises, who never talked to anybody in fear of them finding out what happens behind closed doors. Taylor ends up going to Gage's dad's house in Dallas Texas where she meets Logan and he slowly shows her she is worthy of love and happiness, she also meets Logan's brother and there four friends who take Taylor in as one of their own.
