In 1966, Cordelia Ackerman is a young student studying architecture at the Regent Street Polytechnic, where she met her best friend and former classmate, Richard "Rick" Wright, during their first class together. One night, Rick invites Cordelia and her friends to meet his bandmates in his band, Pink Floyd. They all become good friends and later form a circle of friends amongst themselves.
