Johanna Rutger swore no revenge on titans when she joined the 104th Trainee's Squad after the fall of Wall Maria. Nor did she ever curse them with hatred out loud. A smile was something you'd usually see on her face every day. Through old grandfather tales and her wayward behaviour, the one-eyed girl was the little breakaway from their harsh reality. And with no goals to live by, she continues to slink deeper into the background as her comrades stand out with their determination. But when the winds change direction toward the frightful future, the straight path she walks on suddenly turns crooked and brittle. Now having to dig deeper into humanity's fate, Johanna can only hope that everything she believes in isn't a lie, and in the end she won't be joining the dead.
Yet ironically, the one thing she is absolutely sure of is that there is no happy ending for her.
After all, she was blinded by gold.
