You even have a boyfriend, of course your parents don't know. Life is good. It's a great time to be fourteen. A simple, easy life free of trouble.
Until it begins to unravel as you witness, powerless, this wonderful life of yours becoming undone. All due to a simple pill, a miracle cure for Alzheimer's disease. A remedy for mankind's ills. You bear witness as this so-called miracle cure creates a global pandemic. You watch as it destroys your simple and easy life. You go from being a happy go-lucky teen to survivor. And always running from the dead who walk the earth seeking flesh, devoid of reason, understanding and soul. Only seeking fresh meat. You run not only from the living dead but also the living, the humans, who want to take advantage of you.
