Remember. Survive. Run. The Maze. A ginormous cage, as seen through the eyes and thoughts of Thomas.
Taking place two months before the Ending is enacted, this version of the story is told from Niko's point of view. My aim was to elaborate and open up on the workings on in the glade, which were briefly mentioned but never fully explained in the main turmoil of the original plot.

That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Our Personal Hell; A Thomesa Fiction
The plot of the story revolves around Thomas, a young boy who wakes up in an underground elevator with no memory of his past, only to find himself in a mysterious place called the Glade, surrounded by towering stone walls. He discovers he's among other boys who have also lost their memories, forming a society where each has a role in survival and exploration. They're trapped by a vast and ever-changing maze that threatens their lives with deadly biomechanical creatures known as Grievers. As Thomas adapts to life in the Glade, he becomes involved in unraveling the mystery of the Maze. Along the way, he uncovers fragments of memories and clues about his past, including his connection to a girl named Teresa, who arrives mysteriously in the Glade shortly after him. Conflict arises when the stability of the Glade is disrupted by attacks from Grievers and internal tensions among the boys, exacerbated by Thomas's emerging memories and his role in challenging the status quo. He remembers his involvement in the Maze's creation as part of a secretive organization, W.C.K.D., whose experiments on the Gladers were aimed at finding a cure for a deadly virus, the Flare. Thomas and Teresa, reunited by their shared past and growing feelings, lead the Gladers in a desperate bid for freedom. TMR/ the day I fell in love
Okay so hi! This is my first story. It's pretty basic. It's set in the maze. I changed a LOT from the original book, for example, everyone's already there, but it's pre-newticide attempt. Also, Theresa does. not. exist. One more thing: I DO NOT TRIGGER AN ENDING. I AM NOT THE LAST ONE. Many of the characters that I add are based off of friends, family and acquaintances who I think would fit well into the maze. Lastly, the maze was placed by the creators for a completely different reason, not the Trials. I'm not going to tell you the reason. Finally, there is no way out.
