I stop walking when Jeremiah turns to face me. “Rhea, Rhea, Rhea,” he says my name as he walks my way. I stumble backwards until I was trap against the stairwell wall. “Uh,” I murmur as he props his hands on each side of my head. “We are going to that Halloween thing this Saturday, okay?” he says and my own gaze was focus on his gorgeous brown eyes. I nod my head. “Okay,” I whisper and Jeremiah smiles when I spoke. “Also I want to let you know that you’re quite…” he trails off when his nose brush against mine and I felt my heart completely stop. “I’m what?” I ask him and my own voice sounds airy. “You’re quite pretty, my friend,” he says and my brown eyes widen when he leans in quickly and kiss my cheek. After that, he steps back and claps his hands together. “Tu as belle,” he says before he leans over again to close my gaping mouth. Did he just say I’m beautiful and I swear he just astounded me once again? I slouch up against the wall and touch my cheek as I look at him. “What’s your game, Jeremiah?” I ask. He chuckles. “Nothing, I’m just a simple-friendly person,” he says with a smile. “Anyway, I’ll be seeing you later,” he says and he leaves me in the stairwell area.
