Sometimes someone's presences only is enough to trigger events that will scorch the history books with blood and war. This is the story that began it all, when a little petty pickpocket chanced upon the wrong prey on a really wrong day. 
For generations Kingdom of Aushree is ruled by the House of Raegans. For more than a century the kingdom has only seen peace and prosperity. But the time had now come for the new age to emerge. Envy and hunger for power threatens to end the long reign of Raegans. And the only person who can prevent this is a small girl who wants nothing to do in all this mess. But she has to, if only to extract her revenge.

This is a short story prequel to the main saga. It is meant to spark interest and introduce you to the characters and the world. This story is the tragic incident that shapes the protagonists' future which we come to know as his past.All Rights Reserved

He was travelling to the land of Angels to kill the person who had his Father executed. It was a messy web between them, their Fathers hated each other and their Father's Father's did. She just wanted to get out of town, she hated the memories it held so she went with him on this suicide mission. (Bad description, I am actually proud of this story, although not many chapters they have about 1000 words in each. Maybe I'll write a second one if people like it, but I'm not sure. When Korran makes his decisions, he adds Elara as a marriage option, and she takes this opportunity. Lady Vesper dislikes Korran, and wants to accompany Elara with this mission at all costs....by any means necessary.

Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in. And I've got one request from Mr. Villain over there, please spare me!
