The warrior Clans have lived in peace for many moons in their territories around the lake. But now they must decipher a mysterious prophecy-- and one young warrior apprentice holds the key.

When Alderpaw begins receiving strange dreams from StarClan, it's clear that his true calling is to become ThunderClan's next medicine cat. But before he can settle into his new role, he must depart on a quest that will determine the fate of all warrior Clans.

But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. But when the evil shakes up her life and splits her soul, she may find enough courage to make everything right again. ~~~~~ I hope you enjoy this book. The traveling cats have returned to the mountains with an entire new Clan, StarClan's mission has been completed but there is darkness shadowing all five Clans as they attempt to establish stability in their lives. In AshClan, Slatepaws's sharp attitude and ego is finally catching up to him and he is forced to go through a very harsh wakeup call which forces him to change his perspective, despite his reluctance. In MountainClan, Mountainstar's life has changed completely in only two moons and she struggles to be a good leader while trying to build confidence, pride and respect within her Clan of rouges, kittypets and loners. In MoonClan, Leopardpaw is happy to return to her normal life as a warrior but tensions and unrest are brewing a storm within the normal peaceful Clan and as an apprentice, she fears there is nothing she can do to stop it. In SunClan, Blossompaw is fighting a constant battle with her self-worth and second guessing all of her skills, always pushing herself to the brink of exhaustion and still never feeling good enough, just desperately trying to be a good SunClan warrior. Owlpaw has finally set her paws on the path of a medicine cat, but despite her best efforts she still feels out of place and in the way, and to make things worse she is faced with another mission from StarClan, and if she fails this one; death and violence could consume all five Clans.

If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.

The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer. Even with this last-ditch effort by StarClan, most cats don't believe it will be enough to save GrassClan. Will GrassClan truly rise from the ashes?

The dream has a prophecy that states: Five cats, Frozen Storm, Birch Oaks, and Blowing feathers, chosen by Starclan must save the Forest, the Night, the Water, and the Sun from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden wings. Snowpaw has to figure out what this prophecy means and save the four clans from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden Wings.
