"I woke up in the rain. I didn't know where I was or how I got there. I only knew that I was sitting by a hard packed dirt road in the rain wearing clothes I've never seen before. I was lying on my back, arms spread as if embracing the sky." 'Wisty' wakes up in a place she doesn't know and finds that she doesn't remember anything from her past, Not even her name. Anna and a few other 'picked up gypsys', pick her up and take her in. She lives a life that teaches her who she is and who she was. She along with her new friends survive and fight the darkness, but things in this world might not be as they seem.

Morgana was found next to a tree when she was a child, taken in by her mother and father. Her father was a soldier, until the wars ended, at which time he became a poor farmer. Morgana grew up doing hard work, but was never accepted due to her red hair, and exotic actions. She longed to be free, to have fun, to let go and be free, but her life had always been planned out. She was to be a farmer until she married or died of old age. But a midnight ride into the woods had her asking questions. Finding a silver haired man and a woman who had the same hair as her made questions race through her head. Not to mention the mysterious wolves that roamed the woods and constantly popped in and out of her life.
