"Oh, I'll show you lightning!" Azula starting her form, lightning beginning to form at her fingertips, Zuko was plenty calm. Zuko said he'd be fine, Azula was slipping, so why did Katara suddenly feel like things were about to take a turn for the worst? The lightning came out, but Azula was cunning and directed it away from Zuko, toward the waterbender in the background. He saw Azula's change and for the first time in his life when he looked at the waterbender he saw fear in her eyes, he knew how important she was to him and suddenly felt so protective as he jumped in front of that lightning strike.

She meets two Water Tribe siblings, who join her and Aang's journey to master the elements and end whatever the Fire Nation started. Fire Lord Ozai discovered her Air Nomad origins and he imprisoned her for three years. She got to meet the royal family before it was broken. When she managed to escape she ran away to the Water Tribes. She had been there ever since, protecting the defenseless people from the ruthless Fire benders as well as her bending. A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South.
