The year is 1942, the world was drowning with war. All able-bodied men were being called to serve their countries- leaving behind wives, and children, family, and friends. Even some women even believed it to be their duty and wanted to enlist for the army; it was seldom few women who aspired for this, and even fewer were accepted. However, there was one woman in-particularly fond of that idea and there was nothing that could stop her.

Amanda Olivia Barnes was one of these women, she believed that if her older brother, James Buchanan Barnes, could get his sorry butt into the army- then she could too, and she had just the right amount of determination, compassion, sheer dumb luck, and gentility that would be able to pull her through the craziest adventure that any woman could think of for that age and time with her brother, Bucky Barnes, and her very own friend Steve Rogers. However, could Amanda possibly cope with the events that are about to unfold?
