I see a shape in the distance, the darkness of the forest is hiding the body well but someone's definatly there. The movements are slow and jagged, like a wounded animal. The person comes into the clearing that our deer trap is facing and looks around before continuing to walk. Kaleb shifts next to me and mumbles
"They're limping. Should we help?"
I inhail slowly, contemplating, before exhailing. Kaleb and I watched as the approaching person's breath floated stiffly from the cold in the faint moonlight. It's past midnight and we're miles into the back country of Colorado with nothing but the packs on our backs, the heavy clothing we're wearing, and the two shotguns we took for hunting Bucks. I wipe my mouth.
"Stay here."
Kaleb shot out a hand and grabbed my bicep "Abosolutly not miss impetuous, for all we know that could bigfoot."
