This actually isn't a novel. It's more of just an episodic story, so there's no real flow, rhyme, or reason in between parts. It's not even in chronological order. Just a series of entries into one story, written over time and divided into far too many parts.
Wallace Pinkerton has lived a less than stellar life. After humble beginnings with his close friend Trevor, he has since risen above this life into a mediocre job, with a mediocre social life. But he had to leave Trevor behind in the process.
Now after many years, the two are reunited. The old friendship begins to blossom again,but is cut short when tragedy strikes. And out of desperation, Wallace makes a deal that will change his life forever...
