Running away is all Catalina had ever known, with never a permanent place to call home she's been with more families than she can care to remember. Nobody's ever wanted her, but thats how its always been. And she's accepted that a long time ago, she's happy with being un-noticed, its better than than being exposed.Then one night she runs across this sweet old lady, who offers her a place in her home, why is she willing to help her? Catalina's cautious, no ones ever offered to help her before, she's not stupid, if she's learnt anything in this world its that everybody eventually expects something back in return.
Eventually accepting, she promises herself that she wont get attached, she'll only stay with her just until she saves enough money saved up, She promises she'll finish high school, graduate and be back on the run . But most of all she promises to never get attached. But there's only so many promises to keep, and Catalina knows all to well some promises are easily broken.
