My eyes were blank. Face void of all emotion. Feet carrying me back home. Trudging up the stairs, too shocked to let the emotions sink in.
My whole self was ignoring my father. He was yelling at me, drunk out of his mind. I remember closing the door behind me and dropping the picture to the floor. Dropping myself onto the floor.
I cried. I cried until I couldn't cry any longer, but my body still shook in silent pain.
He said forever.
What he didn't tell me was that forever always ends.
((This book is v cheesy and unrealistic so watch out))

The Man Named Mr. Pig
I'm his personal toy. He comes down the stairs wearing only a pigs head. He laughs at me while tears roll down my face. He snorts and says a sentence that chills my spine. I want to follow him, I should follow him, but I can't, I wouldn't know what to say, he's right I should have called, I should have been there with all of them but instead I shut him out without ever telling him why.
