Prologue: The Letter That day went like any other. I parked my mom's old Ford Escape in the driveway. I had just gotten off work, and it was my last day. Before I walked into the house, I grabbed the mail. A cool breeze whipped past me. I began to look through the mail, like routine and headed inside. There was a cream-colored envelope with big blocky letters saying "Arielle Lancaster." Which would be acceptable only if it wasn't from a place I've never heard of before. "Mount Haven"... might be a scam. Right? The lettering looks like something from the government. Curiosity washed over me, and I opened it. I walked inside to see my parents were gone. I shrugged it off and headed to my room. My eyes began to skim the letter. "To the next of kin of Leah Fletcher," The letter began. Who is that? My eyes jumped to the next thing to catch my eye. "You now fully own 1582 Everest Drive, Mount Haven, Maine. You will need to come and take care of this property." My eyes then jumped to the bottom of the letter.
