Perfect. The word that defines 17 year old Annie's entire life. Rich, beautiful, popular, with a good family, and a boyfriend.
unfortunetly "Perfect" is just a label, just like stupid, ugly, gay, fat, slut, or any other word used to describe a person because you don't understand or know that person. The only thing she wants is to put these labels to rest. So when a video assignment comes up, she uses it as an opportunity to do this, by documenting a few people to show that one word is not enough to describe an entire person.
One person she documents, is her old best friend Sarah, a girl with an incredible singing talent. Another being a popular girl named Diane, who's quarterback boyfriend isn't as great as he portrays. And the last, a boy named Alex who has nothing. She only means to be taking this as an opportunity to get to know these people, and prove our judging ways wrong, but as she gets closer with each person she realizes it may be more than she intended it to be, especially with one of the three.
Ella is falling apart trying to live a "perfect" high school life. Then she meets Ren, who can see past her scars. Suddenly perfection isn't her only option.
