Cornelia Holgate was an awkward, lonesome teenager, until the day she was attacked and almost killed by a vampire. Her life should forever change when she was pulled into the world of the creatures living among humans, fearsome to be seen as it was illegal to let humans know about the existence of creatures like vampires, werewolves or elves. She is accepted into the vampire unit of the next large police station and her life proceeds to be bland and boring- until she decides to open her eyes to reality. [DISCLAIMER: I am not a native speaker and have never been to a native speaking country for longer than a week of vacation, so please excuse my english. The beginning had quite a lot of re-work done, the original was created about two years ago and I have developed a lot since then. • A TVD & ORIGINALS AU DIVERGENCE FANFIC • Finding out that I'm the older brother to both of the female characters I adored watching through a TV screen was a true wake up call. After dying, might I add. To make it better those two almost always got the shit end of the stick, while everyone else got their own version of a happy ending. One, destined to suffer, saving everyone else's back side. The other sister had death waiting in the parking lot. News Flash: Death been there, done that. Suffering? Don't make me laugh. My entire existence was designed to suffer. So, why not show my sisters that they can conquer all that and more? I won't let them be blind little lambs waiting for slaughter.
