Our Walls

This is probably the only Attack on Titan fanfiction that doesn't start off with titans breaching Wall Maria.

Meet Sen, an eleven year old boy who somehow managed to start a fire by getting into a fight with two drunken soldiers at an old bar. Of course, it isn't normal for a kid like him to do something like that, not even in the messed up world he lived in, so everyone was rather surprised to hear what he'd done the day it was posted in the newspaper.

In his world, everyone lives inside of three sacred walls: Maria, Rose and Sina. Beyond these three holy walls, giant, man-eating monsters roam freely and devour whoever dares to roam with them.

Most like to assume that titans and the lack of our religious faith are the only things killing humanity, but little do they know that we're only killing ourselves: The rich starve the poor, the poor murder the rich. In all honesty, it seems that the titans are only trying to help us by putting us out of our misery. After all, being devoured by an ugly beast while being seen as an innocent civilian is better than being seen as a worthless human being who was killed by their own kind.
