A modern twist on the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast.
They were all crazy. I was certain they were. Serial killers! Psychopaths! Maniacs! Until, suddenly, they weren't. Suddenly, their craziness made sense; their stories became true. My fear turned into love and my instinct to flee turned into a desire to stay. It didn't happen they way they thought it would- the breaking of the curse. I did everything against the book. Quite literally. The story books and movies were all wrong. Adam wasn't a beast. Gaston wasn't a villain. (He also wasn't named Gaston.) It was all . . . different and no one could have prepared me for the ending.
My name is Avery and this is the story of how I was the real beauty to a totally unexpected beast.

Beauty and the Beast meets the Labyrinth in the story of a woman lost and a man who couldn't care less. I made a slight mistake. And by slight, I mean an uncharacteristic lapse in judgement has landed me in a place that my rational mind cannot explain, and my body cannot escape. A land full of strange creatures and decaying landscape all ruled by quite possibly the rudest, most rotten person I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Luckily, I'm a woman quite capable of adapting to my surroundings and I have no problem going toe to toe with my grumpy adversary. I might even turn this dismal place around if I'm here long enough. I wonder, though. For someone who insists he prefers a solitary existence, he sure seems to pop up to antagonize me often enough. This is a story inspired by Beauty and the Beast by Walt Dysney. I got a lot of help from my good friend and I'd like to say thank you to her. This story is dedicated to her. Zaiden is a young, handsome, rich man with his whole life ahead of him. He is perfectly happy living his life, being rude to others and not caring about anyone other than himself. But, it all changes when a fairy comes to his door disguised as an old woman. She asks for shelter and a warm meal but because she had no money, he turned her down. She saw he had no kindness or love in his heart for anyone or anything except himself and money, so, she cursed him. His looks, changed, his house changed, his servants turned to stone. His life was turned upside down because of his mean character. And the only way to be free from the curse, is true love. Emily is just a young, normal girl. She enjoys spending her time in the woods with a good book, or with a notebook and pen surrounded by flowers and butterflies. At times, she dreams of what it would be like to have some one that loves her for her. Some one that she can love. But, sometimes, she shrugs it off as a dream that will never come true. Then one day, she gets found in the woods by a hideous man. He takes her by force and she's made to live in his cabin, not allowed to leave at all. Who is this man that captured her? Will Emily ever be free? Will she figure out who he is and why he wanted her? Will Zaiden ever be free from his curse? How will such a beast ever find love? A Beastman Story
How would you feel if you found yourself in a different place with no memory of how you got there? Well that happened to me and this is my story. Hi, My name is Genisis and I am 23 years old, I was walking from my car into my house and..... well that is the last thing I remember before finding myself in a huge forest. Dang, I am so lost, the only things I had on me were the clothes I had on and my duffle bag with my emergency stuff, you know like extra clothes, a flashlight, some granola bars, four or five water bottles and an emergency kit with bandaids, alcohol wipes, antibacterial gel, and that antibiotic ointment. Oh yeah and my purse, that had my phone!! With no signal, and 911 not working, Just freaking GREAT! Read on to find out what happens Thanks for giving me your time and thoughts. Oh and I got inspiration from the beauty and the beasts stories but the characters and plot are my own, I love the idea of the Beastman stories and decided to do a fanfic with my own characters and plot. I say as I still lie under the covers. My mother pulls my cover from my body and tosses it on the floor. I quickly sit up in my bed and glare at her. "Get your ass up now you have half an hour left before your first-period starts and you better not be late," she demands. "Mom, this isn't my school. This isn't my home. I don't want to go." I whine and beg my mother at the same time to let me stay home. What was I thinking? My mom has an image to uphold being this perfect mother who loves and cares about her little baby girl. We both know the truth. Until a few years ago, I never even knew she existed. She and my father both agreed to send me here because they couldn't stand the fact that I fell in love with a black boy.
