Jack and Olivia are going out. While on a date, they take a walk through the woods. They come across blown transformer, well they think it is blown. To try to impress Olivia, Jack starts to climb on the transformer. Olivia tries to stop him but is no use. Seconds later, there is a huge explosion. When a hiker discovers them, Jack is dead, and Olivia is covered in blood, unconcious. She is rushed to the local hosital. She awakes and wants to know where Jack is. So he walks the world as a ghost, later, he realizes he has a little power to make electrical fuses happen and stuff like that. Nothing major, just like cause green lights to turn red all of a sudden, stuff like that. He feels sad that he can't tell the girl he likes that he likes her, so he thinks if he can cause her to die 'accidentally', then she'll turn into a ghost and be with him.
