'Hmm... Maybe this road trip will actually be a good thing for once. Perhaps it will break my unlucky streak and, finally, I'll be happy.' Denny's been focused on college all through her life. But her friend and family think it's time for her to have some stress relieving fun, and to them what better way is there than their road trip? Best friends, Denny Allen and Levi Gregory, embark on a road trip around the country. Levi has told Denny that the point of this trip is for them to find adventure, experience new things, and figure out what they’re meant to with their lives the summer before going to college. But what happens when they meet obstacles of love, will they keep on track with their road trip or cut it short for reasons within them? ***NOTE: This story is being edited, so if while reading you see anything that should be fixed, please tell me.***

"I just realised something." I say, breaking the long silence from the journey. "I'm not gonna be too sad if we don't end up finding her." I speak looking straight ahead as I drive down the road, a million thoughts running through my head. I continue, "Maybe cause to travel is better than to arrive. It's actually what has happened along the way that counts; the tears, the falls and the friendship. It's about the journey and not the destination. And I know she'd think the same. So, I guess, we just gotta trust that the future is gonna work itself out like it's supposed to." I finish off and the other two don't say anything. I glance towards them to see them watch me with apprehension. We all fall silent once again as the trees pass by us, unable to stop thinking about that one silly, reckless knobhead. Friendships are nice that way, just a bit complicated
