GATE: Thus the United States of Canada Fought There!
(A/N: Everyone thank Wattpad Sokal7 for helping me bring back this story. It took a very long time, but I've managed to bring it back. I made some changes but almost all of it is the same.) ========== Summary: What if during the 'War for Independence', instead of just 13 colonies choosing to secede from the British Empire, it was ALL the colonies of British North America that chose to fight for their independence. After winning their independence, the colonies would band together and unite to form the United States of Canada. Throughout its history, the USC has fought for its own existence in multiple wars and their actions have changed the course of human history. Despite all the faults and setbacks, the nation was forced to endure, the USC stands as one of the major superpowers in the world. However, everything changes when a GATE like structure appears and out came a roman like army. After eliminating the invaders and going to a world of fantasy, the USC soon encounter another GATE structure and are shocked to learn that it leads to a Parallel Earth, one with a radically different history. After encountering the JSDF, the people of the parallel Earth are soon in for a shock when they meet their alternate counterparts, especially the Parallel Americans. It's 2030 and World War 3 had finished a year before, the United States had thrived when the 47th President of the United States, Maxwell Sterling had led the United States through the war avoiding Nuclear M.A.D between the countries, allowing Puerto Rico to become the 51st State and carried the US through another Cold War. But when a massive storm consumes the United States what will our squad. Raider Squad of the Special Forces, do when they're deployed to the new world to report and deliver news of their new journey. After the Third World War, in 2026, Earth experienced what the people called, "the Great Calamity". this world wide disaster destroyed much of the worlds nations, but leaving North America and the Caribbean. left with no choice what was left of the old world went into isolation. after years of fighting in North America, the United States Of America was left, the sole surviving nation of the old world. with what technology they had, the US has vowed to keep the memory of the old and free the new of lies. and there's nothing to stop them from doing it. Dissent
Test day. The day we knew was coming and had been dreading the most. Today is the end of what we have known and the beginning of the unknown. We will be tested, graded, and shipped off to where our tests assign us. There is no freedom of choice, no independence, and nothing to look forward to. All of us have been together since the beginning and can remember the good ol' days of playing outside, dressing how we wanted, and being free to be who we were and wanted to be without having to worry about getting shot because of it. What I remember most is going to the library and having the ability to choose whatever book we wanted to and in those days there were too many books to choose from. Those days are long gone. The ruling government now makes all our choices for us. The freedom of everything was taken away along with all of our rights, until today. We are ready to fight back and take control of our country for our generation and those that follow. We may be 14 years old, but we have a mission and that mission is to fight for and regain the freedoms that were lost. Today is the beginning of the unknown.
